Marlene is super! She is full of energy, lots of fun and a wealth of information, cultural, historical and just plain interesting. We had a very special experience in the Camargue, a boat ride to a secluded beach filled with driftwood and a picnic, then seeing the landscape with the wild flamingos and herons. Next we were up close and personal with the white horses and the bulls!! It was a day I will never forget. I love exploring with her and highly recommend her, she's the best!…

I have been communicating with Marlene over the past 3 months planning a trip to Provence with my elderly mother. Marlene has been incredibly responsive and helpful in suggesting touring ideas and unfailingly accomodating in offering personalised solutions to suit both our travel interests and my mother's accessibility needs. She has communicated beautifully in English and her website is very helpful too. Sadly, I've had to cancel our upcoming trip to Europe for unforeseen circumstances. I felt Marlene deserves a review for the outstanding customer service she has provided before we even arrived in France! Thank you, Marlene, and I sincerely hope I can make use of your services in person some time!…

Marlene was a fantastic guide for a week in Provence. She was full of energy and enthusiasm, was full of knowledge about everything we saw, and was flexible to design our trip around our preferences. Many sites in Provence are not easily accessible by public transit, so driving is a must. We were a party of four, and Marlene drove a small and comfortable van. She is great at finding parking and has a good feel for how long to stay at each stop. She will help you make the most of your trip! And she is also a joy to spend your trip with! She also helped us find dinner reservations, and her recommendations were fantastic.…

We had a fantastic day with Marlene! She made good on all her promises from great photo opportunities to excellent food, wine and olive oil. Her pacing of the day was perfect although I could easily have spent all day at the Saturday markets of Aix-en-Provence! It was a great mix of architecture (stepping into a Sephora store to discover Roman arches), history, beautiful scenery, culinary surprises (pickled garlic) and shopping. Marlene was a delight to be with and her knowledge of the area was thorough and entertaining. She listened to what we wanted to do and provided it with great wit, engaging stories and generally going above and beyond the expected. We would recommend Marlene to anyone.…

We lucked into Marlene and couldn’t have been more delighted. She went above and aboard even before we arrived in France and arranged to meet us at the Avignon train station and make sure our rental car got all worked out. We then followed her into town where she introduced us to this papal town and the region in general. The next day she arranged for an afternoon of wine tasting in Chateauneuf du Pape, as well as a visit to the Chateauneuf itself. We loved getting to know this Provence native, who made sure that our time on the Riviera was well spent with a fellow tour guide there. She made us feel welcome, shared her love of her home and made sure we got some amazing photos. We will definitely recommend her to friends!…
