Quite pretty

It is only a small space. Hard to imagine Van Gogh being here and painting in the garden. But it is quite pretty and the streets around it are very picturesque.

I expected more... I love Van Gogh and I came to Arles because of the year he spent here... there is not much developed around him, besides a picture with a brief note placed on this location, an asylum or hospital at the time, were he lived and that he painted. It's worth paying a visit, but don't expect too... More

It was amazing to see this inner courtyard almost as Van Gogh had painted it all those years ago indeed there was a copy of his painting for us to compare. Absolutely wonderful

There isn't a Van Gogh in this museum or even a knock-off in the gift shop. Money had been spent on this museum but it isn't worth the visit. Staff was cold. Relation to work of Van Gogh was a mystery

Hidden away from the bustle and hustle - This square has lots of colourful flowers and is a nice place to sit and contemplate what life would have been like in Van Goughs day!

We were very disappointed that the museum was closed after we spent quite some time finding it, but this garden gave us all we would get of the artist on this visit. Brightly colored plants, flowers and paint under a blue sky reminded me of his sensibilities, of which not much seems to remain in this busy town.

Beautiful garden dedicated to Van Gogh. Wonderful space to roam around for a short visit for those who appreciate the artist.

Yes Van Gogh was here. This is a nice square tucked away from the main hustle and bustle and thus a little difficult to find. It's very peaceful but nothing fantastic in my opinion, my wife thinks differently but that's why we visited.

Espace is located on Rue President Wilson, find the big arch, go through and you will see one more Van Gogh "easel". Former hospital where Van Gogh was treated for severe depression and other diagnosis, today this building is closed to the public, but the courtyard is open and free. Painting was part of therapy and he produced more than... More

City doesn't seem to publicize the Location of this sight, at all... But I was able to find it with the map here on TA. Click on this map, at upper right, and expand it out + several times... It's South of the Rue de la Republique. . Turn South onto the Rue du President Wilson, and walk just a... More
