It’s hard to get your head around what took place on this planet hundreds of years ago, but paying a visit to this historic site will help. Walking around these ancient baths you can practically hear the people of yesterday talking as they bath in...More

You can see enough by walking around and looking through the chain link fence. In my opinion, not worth the price of admission.

If you’re interested in Roman remains, you’ll love this. There’s a pretty good section of the Roman baths to explore and it’s well preserved enough to really give you a feel for how the Romans lived.

...and I do. You have to be able to imagine the way it was 1700 years ago but its not too hard. You really get to climb around on the place. Nothing fancy. Some signs, no guides.

The thermes or Roman baths are part of the city pass. They are a good presentation of how the baths worked even if they are now only a third of what they were originally.

Worth seeing if you have purchased the "City Pass" from the Tourism Office. Small site with fragments of the original baths remaining. Interesting, descriptive information panels allow you to imagine what it might have been.

This is the former Roman Baths of the Town they are in a relatively good state of preservation and worth including on your visit to Arles, they are located down by the River, there is small car park located by the entrance.

NOT handicap accessible past the first few views of the baths. Then you climb up/down ladders into the various chambers. I happen to like Roman ruins, so I was pleased, but no decorative features to speak of. guide book extra.

Loved visiting this place and discovering a long ago history when all the public could enjoy an old time hot tub in varied temperatures. So great.
