Do not miss an opportunity to learn from this wonderful young man. His patient instruction followed by his carefully guided city tour kept our family of five, ages 12 to 78, safe, informed, and entertained!

We stayed in a home exchange In Le Tholonet, not in the center of Aix. Aix is not on the water (I assume you are arriving in Marseille), but there is bus service from downtown Marseille to downtown Aix. It is certain to be a lot less expensive than a taxi. I imagine the busses depart not too far from the dock in Marseille. And, if you are really in a suburb of Aix, there is frequent, inexpensive, comfortable, and reliable bus service (1 euro, and 20 cents, often).
