Built atop an ancient Roman bath with fresh spring water this place is just plain fun and relaxing. It is not as posh as many US spas but just go with the flow. You need to bring a bathing suit and flip flops. They provide towels and robes but not much else (no lotions, hair products, etc). There is a hair dryer. The treatments are all about 15-20 minutes each and you do several. I will not describe them as you should discover for yourself! It’s half the fun. There are saunas, jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pools. They have a very good restaurant with outside eating around the pool for after the treatments. We spent 5 hours there. …

This is a beautiful spa right in the centre of the town of Aix-en-Provence. It's not in the same caliber as some of the outdoor spas i've visited, but it didn't disappoint. It was quiet and had a nice mix of steam rooms, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool and lounge areas. I recommend going for lunch at the Orangerie. It is reasonably priced, 18 euros for a generous and delicious lunch and less than 5 euros for a glass of wine. The pool was lovely to swim in and lounge around. I didn't do any of the spa treatments and still spent 5 hours there. It's not a must-do when you are in Aix, but it is a lovely if you have the time.…

Situated in the middle of town, Aquabella hotel comfortable with spacious rooms. Thermal spa pool outside in nice surroundings but rather chilly at 27'C. Inside jacuzzi hot but highly chlorinated. Many treatments available but a bit pricy.

Went there with family for a relaxing time, but actually left disappointed. We had booked a package consisting of access to the spa, lunch at the Orangerie and an essential oil treatment. First of all, I was disappointed to find out there is not even a swimming pool, which is a first for me. There are 2 very small swimming pools but they are for private aquagym sessions only. Next, the jacuzzi is not really a jacuzzi but rather a large bath tub with very little bubbles, so it's a bit of a waste of time as well. I then got my hopes up for the hammam, but there again, steam seems to be reduced to a minimum so you could spend an hour in there. Only the sauna lived up to sauna expectations. The essential oil treatment was just ok, but when they say it will last 20 minutes, except them to use a stopwatch and end the treatment exactly after 20 minutes. It's a quick in quick out kind of mentality. Finally, you do get a bah robe and 1 small towel.... really not enough. Both will be wet after less than an hour and you'll be wandering around feeling wet and cold. Compared to some other spas I have been to, this one definitely is in the lower half. Even some private hotel spas are better than this one. I will not go back there.…

was very disappointed with my experience. I have a package of 4 difference services, each involving water, resulting in the need to dry off afterwards. I was provided one, tiny hand towel for the entire day. After each service, the little towel was sopping wet. I asked for a larger towel but none available. I did get other hand towels but only by having to go out to the front desk each time I needed one None available in place where needed. I found one small counter with a mirror with two hairdryers but nowhere could I find a place to plug in the curling iron I had brought. The showers are in a unisex area, which is fine, but one cannot lock each individual shower door, which I think would be appropriate. The services themselves were not up to the standard of a first class spa which charges premium prices. Most disappointing is I wrote a review on the form provided there and a separate email as well and heard nothing back. Not very professional.…
