Great cinema, traditional style and lovely bar area. Comfortable seats. The Aix cinemas Cezanne, Renoir, and Mazarin, are all run by the same company and seem to be very good. Good advertising throughout the town.

There's three cinemas walking distance from the Old Town in Aix. This one is the quirky, indie one. I have such fond memories there.

The advantage of the many cinemas in Aix is that there ware many films shown in their original language. Last night we tried a French film, Bang Gang- a warning for excesses of the human pleasures!!!

Great film at a lovely little theatre. A talk with the film maker after was treat. A little expensive though. Very clean & efficent.

Unlike the Cinema Cézanne (pictured in the Trip Advisor photo above), the Mazarin cinema (and its partner, the Renoir on the Cours) show all foreign films in the original language (VO in French).

It's been fun to see movies in English with French subtitles during our stay in Aix. The theaters are gorgeous, air conditioned and have amazing seats. The Renoir theatre on Cours Mirabeau has the movies in English. It's a couple of blocks from the Mazarin...More

If you are are spending any more than a few days in Aix and have an evening free, you MUST go to one of the movie theaters. It is a great experience and The Mazarin is beautiful, comfortable and has delightful refreshments..
