I liked this museum which had letters and annointted music scores involving Paul Cezanne, Emile Zola and others. The art6 works were also interesting, take the opportunity of visiting the Chapel which is included in the admission which has modern art on display.

Although Cezanne painted in the city his best works are found elsewhere but the museum is rich in history of the man. We enjoyed the non-Cezanne art more. All in all worth a visit.

This is not the Louvre or Orsay but it's a good provincial art museum. The Granet XX in the old Chapelle des Penitents Blanc is quite special and worth seeking out.

There are few notable paintings I was glad to see but several items are out on loan and the collection is not very large. Interesting sculpture room though.

Interesting place since 2000 when a donator gave 71 paintings, but otherwise, quite limited. There are some pictures from Cezanne, of course, but in a limited way. Ad on leaflet made us thought it was much bigger. BUT, it is worth it for Granet himself...More

When it comes to art museums, this one is the perfect size. Not so large that it's overwhelming and not so small that you wanted more. The price is right too - and free on Sundays during every season except summer. We visited on a...More
