Provence Lavender Fields Tour from Aix-en-Provence

90 reviews
It isn’t a trip to Provence without a visit to the region’s fragrant lavender fields—and this tour makes it simple to take in the purple-hued scenery (and enjoy the bewitching perfume). Depart in the morning from Aix-en-Provence, and travel via air-conditioned minibus. Your guide will take you to the area’s loveliest lavender fields. As you go, you’ll also admire local villages, see landmarks like the Verdon Gorge, and will have the chance to shop for lavender products.

We walked in the street pretty much every day of our trip and I can honestly say it prettier than many main strips. I didn’t buy from the stalls as I guess they are slightly over priced but good people watching and wondering along the road.

One of the best streets I have visited in my life. Happening and live atmosphere. Authentic cafes and restaurants.

Cours Mirabeau is a beautiful street. We walked the length of the whole area and spent a long time just looking around. The street is beautifully tree lined and it is wide, so it looks fantastic. It is perfect for a walk. There are plenty of shops as well, including many cafes and restaurants. There are also several fountains along this stretch of road, the nicest of which is the Fontaine de La Rotonde.

A huge outdoor market with flowers, fruits, vegetables, clothes, gifts, books, lavender, soaps... Lots of alleys to walk down, little fountains along the way.

A good place to walk around and watch the people, the cafés, the old buildings and enjoy everything slowly.
