Enjoyed the place, good shopping and good atmosphere. Lots of shops, all types. Good brasseries etc. Lots of people without it being over the top full though. Just nice!

This is THE street in Aix en Provence. There are mostly clothing shops, art galleries, and banks along one side, and restaurants, cafes and bars along the other. It is so lively, an open market on Tuesdays, Thursday’s and Saturdays.

Broad avenue that is designed for strolling along and stopping for a coffee or a meal. Lots of roadworks in Aix at the moment so at the Rotunde end a bit of a mess.

Lovely side avenue, with different market type stalls on most days. Many very pleasant open restaurants to sit and watch the World to by. All very typically French.

Market days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. A great number of stalls selling a great variety of mostly locally [Provence and France] produced goods [not much from China]
