I visited La Bergerie. The little shop offers the best of French Cheese. Friendly English speaking staff, small tasting plates with a glass of white wine is the best! When you are in La Rochelle definitely a must visit

We visited on a Sunday just prior to closing. These are the fab points: Fresh food/produce Busy with locals Beer and restaurants Great atmosphere Don’t forget to look at the building It is a really pretty building too!
