The Aquarium in La Rochelle is an interesting visit. It has everything you would expect, with a lot of detailed information. It isn't the best aquarium I've visited in terms of size and quality of the displays, but it is still very good.

Have you ever been to the Sealife centre chain here in the UK? Well this French equivalent is easily ten times better! The displays and tanks are huge with amazing fish and giant crabs. I actually found out after my vist that the aquarium is rated the best in the whole of France, I can see why! Highly recommend you... More

We spent a couple of hours in there but a family could well spend half a day. Great set up for viewing fish and good selection to see.

One of the most spectacular aquariums I've visited. Information was provided in both French and English, which was great! During the summer months the aquarium stays open until 23:00, which gave us a great, cheap activity to do. As students we received a discount, which worked out at tickets costing €13,50 approximately each.

If in la Rochelle the aquarium is a must to visit. Nice afternoon and plenty to see. Be sure to visit late afternoon to beat the crowds. Kids will love it!!

This is one of the best aquariums I have visited. Spent about 2 hours taking photos and working on capturing interesting underwater photos. Many large tanks and the bioluminescence area was very interesting and a got a few good pictures.

Te Acquarium in Lisboa, Portugal, was well organized as shops, it has a lots of other objects. But, the important thing, are fish, ad these are really very interesting. Sharks, gellyfish and Yellowstone, black-o range disse are... More

Very easy to find and get parking at the aquarium. I booked online so skipped the short queue and went straight into the aquarium. Plenty to see with lots of different fish divided into ocean groups. The kids loved it...especially the little walkway for kids only under one of the tanks. Would definitely recommend as somewhere to pass a few... More

This aquarium is well worth a visit. Very good layout and value. The sharks and jellyfish were impressive. It's worth getting a headset for a few extra euro. I don't think I've ever been to an aquarium with so many different kinds of fish and other sealife before!

This is very much worth a visit. Its well laid out, has lots of information and a rain forest thrown in too. The jellyfish were amazing and of course everyone loves seeing sharks and a turtle. Very good value for money.
