We visited Basilique Saint Nicolas at weekend afternoon. There are not so many people here. I remember the magnificent moment when the natural light of sunset lights up the whole church.

Architecture impressive. Calming place to sit. Organist playing on our visit. Lit a candle for departed relative.

A very beautiful church - not over the top with great architectural features. A lovely space for religious moments or just to admire. Certainly worth 20 mins or so in this lovely city.

Nantes is under going regeneration and outside this they are laying new paving and trees. Inside was a typical large interesting church.
