I spent a good half hour in one store. Fun. I wish I remembered the name of the store but you really can’t miss it. Look for lots of color and really fun “trucs”.

When you are exiting the stairs, you find yourself 2 streets above from where you started. Many other street access makes this very elegant covered 1900 mall look like a museum. All kind of boutiques. A must see in Nantes and it's free and a great rain shelter.

The Passage is located in the midst of several great shopping streets with shops I preferred over the ones in the Passage itself. But it’s worth walking through nonetheless. The tea shop looked inviting as well as several shoe shops and houseware stores. Different exits lead to various streets in the shopping district which were fun for window shopping.

You could almost miss the passage Pommeraye if your not looking for it. Lots of nice quirky shops to look around as you walk up the very old marbled/stone stair case. You sense it's age by the way the stairs are naturally worn away by the thousands of foot steps that have walked up it over the years. The features and mouldings inside the building are really beautifully made by French craftsmen. Passage Pommeraye can be accessed either from the bottom road or top road hence the reason it is noted as a "passage". It is in the centre of Nantes where there are also many independent boutiques and restaurants. If you are in the centre of Nantes it's worth a visit!

This Passage is well worth a visit, with beautifulshops and stunning archiecture. You could spend alot of time in here, taking in the eclectic mix of shops and products for sale. There are chocolate shops, clothes shops and gift shops to name but a few.Lovely experience.

You just have to visit this little 'arcade' for a piece of nostalgia with a bit of quirkiness thrown in. The passage is beautiful with gleaming, well worn wooden stairs and wonderful shop fronts (take time to look closely at them) and shops catering for most people. Well worth finding.

Passage Pommeraye is in Nantes town centre (not far from Place Graslin) and possesses some some charm from 19th century. It provides various shop fronts such as “Nature & Découvertes” for imaginative toys and discover nature or “Pylônes” for unusual kitchen stuff or toys.

I thought it was over rated. Is it nice? I have seen better. Do you have to go? Maybe?

I have been to a lot of places but this is just ok.

In the middle of town there is this beahtiful arcade building, very stylish indeed. Enjoy the building, and some window shopping, because most of the shops there are way too expensive.

The shopping in Nantes is great, plenty of little independent stores down cobbled streets as well as the more familiar high street stores. And then there's Passage Pommeraye, a three storey 19th century shopping arcade full of architectural splendour. The shops are a quite a random mix but definitely not just for tourists and there's a branch of the lovely bag shop Paul Marius and gift/homewares store La Chaise Longue. There's also the unmissable delights of Maison Georges Larnicol for chocolates and cakes.
