4 adults and 2 children under 7, we all had a fantastic day. The park is beautiful and packed with flowers. There is tonnes for the children to engage and play with, they could have stayed for hours longer. A beautiful park and happy children meant it was a lovely day out for the adults too. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and helpful, and keen to speak with children in English when French was a struggle. Highly highly recommend a day out here. We hope to be back for a third visit next year.

Overall this place is good value for money. We spent most of the day there and our children who are 7 & 9 enjoyed themselves. There is no translation so if your French is not great, it might be worth giving some of the shows a miss but the 4D Jurassic adventure was the best one - no translation needed! The children loved the butterfly enclosure and looking for frogs amongst all the lily pads. I thought the origins section could have been improved upon with some more actual dinosaurs or other things for the kids to spot amongst the plants rather than just sound effects and the rose garden was a little disappointing, but apart from that, for the money I can’t complain about what was overall a lovely day out.

That's our second time by Terra Botanica. Our 6 and 9 years old asked to come back after we have been last summer! We loved it as much. Terra Botanica is THE vegetal theme park in France. There are plenty of plants and trees to watch of course, but in such a set up that even the kids never get bored. Also there are plenty of activities - plan the whole day there!! We loved the dino 4D movie (for 6 years old +), the story telling, the magic show (some acts quite impressive !), the merry go round, the search for amber (even my husband was actively looking for it!), the garden where the kids garden themselves, etc. Plus, last year was to windy for it to work, but this year we got to go in the hot air balloon - short ride but very nice !!! I also recommended to my parents to go, as I truly believe there is something for all ages.

We visited this park with an 8 year old. She enjoyed it, but I suspect some older children may find it less interesting. It’s focused around a vast and diverse array of plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables. There are lovely gardens to walk around, or take a leisurely boat trip through. The kitchen gardens are impressive. There is an obvious aim to educate children about these and the earth. As an adult I also found most of this rather interesting. There are regular shows, the magic one was good. Some of the others were historical or regarding the history of botany. Our daughter wasn’t entertained by these! Needless to say, as it in France all of the entertainment is in French! Not a problem if you are fluent, but a little hard to follow if not. There’s a picnic area, a snack bar and restaurant.
