Rouen is a delightful city and the old section of town contains the astronomical clock which is delightfully positioned along a picturesque old section of town. It is well worth the walk through this section and enjoy the cathedral, and the many shops and restaurants.

A very attractive street with the grand clock spanning over it. You can enter with a small charge but we were not fit that day. It is one of the nice sights on a walking tour and the road leads to the old market where...More

There is little room inside the great clock tower so admissions are limited to 30 inside at a time, meaning you may have to wait for others to finish their visit before you can gain access. Once you do you are self-guided by an audio-guide...More

Beautifully kept Astrological clock near to the famous Cathedral. Observing from outside is free but you can visit the site (see photos) for 7€ - Closed Mondays.

Easy to find opposite the main square of the cathedral. Archway with a very ll arge clock with one finger telling the time. Good architecture and something everyone sees when visiting Rouen.

Lovely clock and great little area to stroll around. The Old Town area is a must to view and we found the Monday good as a lot of the shops were closed. Regards Gary Saunders

I’m so glad we saw this on the way on the way to the Joan of Arc cite. It is beautifully gilded and the arch it’s sits upon has carvings. Totally a gem walking around.

The Gros-Horloge is quiet easy to see and it is on the Rue de Gros Horloge but do walk a little further than this - there are some great bars and restaurants and local vibes and ambience....

It's an easy walk - it's fairly level. I have one knee replaced and the other needs to be done. I always use a cane when touring (otherwise at home I don't) to give you some idea of how mobile I am.
