Do not miss this beautiful church. Be sure to light a candle for Joan of Arc. Even though the church is newer in comparison to many of the beautiful cathedrals in Rouen, the stained glass spectacular.

It was interesting to learn the history of Joan of Arc and a must see when visiting Rouen, the city is very quaint and we walked a lot on cobblestones and we had a guide who was very helpful and we visited the major buildings there very old city it appeared and we visited as my wifes family cam from... This modern church is absolutely unique. One of its kind. Impossible to capture its shape beauty on a single photo. My personal opinion, the outside is more interesting than the inside, but still worth a visit. You cannot go to Rouen and skip this place. Its location (Square between Rue Saint Romain, Rue des Bonnetiers and Rue de la Republique)... More

The church cradles the marked site where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. It is a grey sweeping building that twists and curves dominating the centre of the square. Does it signify her story or nod to contemporary architecture creating visual conflict with the surrounding blend of medieval and modern buildings. We didn't go inside as it was... More

Shaped like a dragon this very modern church is next to the large cross that commemorates (and marks) where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. The layout and stained glass windows are a wonder to behold.

What an unusual church building, reminded me of Coventry Cathedral or Liverpool. From the outside it resembles tongues of fire, inside it is full of light with beautiful stained glass and an amazing ceiling resembling the hull of a ship. Quite and peaceful, a place for reflection and prayer. Free entry, which is always good, and some information around about... More

Of all places to see, I wanted to see the main square where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. Not morbid, its just that she was part of my history lessons. The area has a lovely market teeming with fresh produce and seafood. Its an interesting place to visit.

Regardless of whether one is Catholic, a stop here should be on your list. The contemporary Church is beautiful and peaceful. The adjacent site where Joan of Arc was burned is rich in history and humbling.

We toured Rouen as one of our port of calls and enjoyed sight-seeing. We took many pictures and it was noteworthy to experience where St. Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. The Old Market was an experience in and of itself. Lots to see and lots of pix ops. A must-see.

This church is very modern in contrast to the remainder of the city. If you are in Rouen this is a must visit.
