A lovely park area, full of colourful flowers and fountains, a surprising find amongst all the concrete buildings for which Le Havre is famous.

really well designed, and although this is in the city itself there is a relaxing atmosphere and also a mixture of gardens and water fountains

Well laid out gardens. Very neat. The fountains were switched on around 10 a.m. when we visited, very impressive. There are interesting sculptures and poignant war memorials

The gardens in front of City Hall are extensive and include some fountains. Some of the flowers were in bloom. But the whole area is in need or re-design as it includes too much concrete and no shade. Not many people around.

Just in from of the town hall is the park with fountains and as it was a nice day in March, I decided to have a few minutes sat with a drink watching the passers by, plenty of benches to sit at and relax

It is not like the park in Paris but it still a nice and quiet place to stroll around and relax before you go to other attractions
