We could not believe our eyes when we arrived here. Not only are there many great paintings, but they are right in front of you. You can see the brushwork of the artists in exquisite detail. I recognised many of the paintings from the histories...More

I had researched this museum before our trip, so it was on our list of places to visit. We arrived, on foot, from the centre of town in about 10 mins at 11am when they opened. Within 15 mins of opening, the place was bustling...More

This museum overlooks the harbor and there is quite a view. While this is small by comparison to other museums we visited in France, the collection is very interesting. Best of all, it was not crowded on the day we visited so you could really...More

This is a lovely museum overlooking the harbor, and it’s no surprise that much of the collection is dedicated to harbor/water/ocean scenes. It’s bright & airy, very relaxing. I enjoyed both a special exhibit (Né en écumes) and the permanent collection, which includes numerous Renoir,...More

We drove here from Honfleur in May, it's right at the end of the harbour area. We parked in the road just down from the building for free, although looks like there is a car park opposite also. Sat Nav took us there, the signs...More

View the works of the great impressionists in this modern, light building. The collection is second only to the collection at Paris’ Musee d’Orsay. The Malraux Museum costs 7 euro per ticket and is closed on Tuesdays. Parts of the museum are currently closed for...More

It's a small museum, but they've arranged paintings nicely. There is Renoir, Monet, Dufy and a lot of other impressionists. Boudin of course has almost entire floor for his paintings. Note his painting of cows ) If you are on a quest to visit museums...More

Highly interesting collection easy to visit. Présentation Boudin paintings à little too closely grouped but otherwise all interesting, staff helpful and entrance fee unpretentious!
