“Get yourself your own combination of ciders”

Sometimes you find that shops with a lot of awards (Gribouille has received the French Routard commendation for many years), start to act arrogantly and become expensive. With Gribouille that is absolutely not the case. Prices are very friendly for the top quality of cider, calvados, pommeau etc they offer. Staff is kind and helpful, making you feel welcome. Great to constitute your own set of ciders, as a present to someone else or yourself!

We recently visited this shop while on a road trip through Normandy. The owner was helpful with Calvados & cider recommendations without being pushy. He was also helpful in recommending other places to visit in the region.

Excellent shop, service, and selection of Calvados and treats

Fanny and Fabrice are wonderful hosts, and I was happy to get back to see them after almost 5 years. Fabrice is so funny and friendly, you cant help but like him and he helps you through picking out your gifts & a nice bottle of Calvados for yourself ! They do not try to steer you to a particular product or push any expensive items on you, it's all about what you like and how they can help you. My wife loves the Pear Calvados and the caramels that Fabrice gifted us on the way out. My friends loved their gifts of Calvados packaged in the 70th Anniversary D-Day bottles. This is a great shop and not just for Calvados, I'd stop by anytime I'm in town as I can really appreciate a place where service is as good as Fanny & Fabrice provide.
