Wonderful Lisa from tourist desk at the port gave us a lift in her own car to honfleur centre as shuttle fred organised refused to use lift, I fed back to fred shore team. Absolutely thank Lisa from tourist office, teal inain office called a taxi gor our return was fantastic service. Honfleur is possible as a shore excursion for wheelchair users, beautiful harbour, plenty of places to eat, very reasonable prices, shops and little dtreets to meander, but best of all, enjoy lazy long lunch class of wine, moules e fries or croque monsuier. Push wheelchair on roads, very bumpy on cobbles but some street paved or tarmac accesible loo in car park.

La Maison du Nougat is a shop of thieves. Over charged by 500%
Never go to that shop!! We were given a sample and the sign was misleading about the price. It is a rip off! Such a shame for beautiful Honfleur.

At the tourist office we hired audio guides, for a self-guided walk around the town. These proved to be outstanding value at 3.50 euros each. The tour takes around 90 minutes.

Bonjour and thank you for this comment.
We are really glad that you enjoyed the audio walking tour.
It is a nice way indeed to discover the medieval town and the harbour by yourself.
We can provide it in English, German and French.
Kind regards

Tourist office is clean and well stocked with map and tourist information plus gave helpful info on walking tour routes. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Honfleur and had fun photographing the churches, buildings and harbor. I'd allow 6 hours to visit including walking tour, shopping and having a meal on waterfront. I had local wine and crepes which were very good. Nice place to spend a half or full day.

Helpful multi-lingual staff, situated just out of the main port area so easy to find and well stocked with pamphlets of things to do not only in the town itself but also slightly further afield

What is the best way to get to Honfleur from Le Havre? We will be arriving in Le Havre on a cruise ship in June and would like to visit Honfleur. We can take a bus or a taxi...about how much would a taxi be? Is it best to arrange in advance? Thank you, Donna

Hello. I will be coming from the train station in Deauville/Trouville in July. What are the bus connection times. What is the cost? Are the buses right at the train station?
Is it possible to take a taxi? What is the approximate cost?
