Busy but beautiful coastal town. Fantastic individual shops, wonderful array of restaurants, guest houses and coffee shops. Can spend a full day here no problem. I should imagine it is absolutely packed in the summer months.

A very pretty port, with a few boats moored and the occasional boat being sailed in/out. You can walk around the 'U' shape and visit some of the many bars and shops that line the quayside. We were fortunate with the weather and could sit...More

On the door step, worth seeing. Very quaint and picturesque. Lots of boats naturally enough all moored up. Fishing and pleasure types.

One of the nicest sites on the Normandy coast. Painted by many impressionists. Explorers left from Honfleur to all parts of the Americas. Samuel de Champlain left from there when he eventually founded the city of Quebec.

We fell in love with this place the minute we saw it. Despite the number of tourists, the town has managed to keep its culture and originality with lovely buildings and architecture.

On the banks of the Seine near the commercial port. So a bit of a hike, but a 5 minute taxi ride.

Hi ! Every Saturday morning, near the Ste Catherine church, a market is held. There is also an organic market, on Wednesday mornings I believe. This will have to be confirmed by someone who still lives in town.

Hi Pat and Bob I can see no one replied to you and it was over a year ago now that you stopped in Honfleur. Perhaps you could answer your own question for me - I arrive on the 1 June. Any info would be very helpful... More
