Lovely port with lots of restaurants. Great place to people watch. Yachts coming and going especially during this weekend which was a Mariner celebration. Many people in their blue and white striped shirts, red pants and festive outfits.

People happily eating at sidewalk cafes... Kids with balloons riding a carousel... Tons of sailboats... A guy playing French music on an accordion... The harbor water reflecting the clouds above perfectly... All of this, like it was a Tuesday (which it was)...

The tall houses around the outside are fascinating to sit and study, especially if you're sat with a cold beer! Lovely to walk around. There are some amazing boats to admire too!

We spent a lovely day walking the beautiful cobble stone streets of Honfleur. It is a lovely village with the charms of Old France. There are numerous restaurants surrounding the harbor. A wonderful way to spend a peaceful and relaxing day

We had a lovely few hours here. Lots of places to eat, some more expensive than others. Brilliant spot for pictures.

On the banks of the Seine near the commercial port. So a bit of a hike, but a 5 minute taxi ride.

Hi ! Every Saturday morning, near the Ste Catherine church, a market is held. There is also an organic market, on Wednesday mornings I believe. This will have to be confirmed by someone who still lives in town.

We are arriving in Honfleur on the 22 April. We prefer to explore on our own. Can you recommend places of interest within easy reach of the cruise terminal please.

Hi Pat and Bob I can see no one replied to you and it was over a year ago now that you stopped in Honfleur. Perhaps you could answer your own question for me - I arrive on the 1 June. Any info would be very helpful... More
