We were a little disappointed as we imagine this will be a park with free animals that you can visit around. However, it is very small, you have firts a couple of rooms to watch a video and see few insects. Then, you enter into the tropical room and that is all. In this room you have beautiful butterflies, few birds (that seem tired of all the noise of the visitors) and you can do a zigzag circuit but as soon you get more than 40 people is already too much...

It is true it is a bit expensive especially if you are a large family but it is an a;most magical experience to leave a cold wet winter's day and be instantly transported to a hot humid jungle which can be a problem if you are wrapped up against the cols and suddenly wish you had come in shorts - so top tip if you come by car in winter leave as much clothing in the car before you go in otherwise you will find yourself carrying bundles of hats coats and scarves! Of course the great attraction are the swarms of multi coloured butterflies and there are not juts a few there are hundreds flying around you and landing on you little folk are totally mesmerized

having read reviews before visiting we were a little dubious and ahd the waether not been so poor would have skipped the visit, we would never have known what we were missing. Four of us all over 60 have visited his type of establishment in various parts ot he world. This is small but excellent, not only the butterflies but the quail as well, luittle chicks half the size of a matchbox scurrying around with mum & dad who are not much bigger than a decent mug. We spend just under two hours there and enjoyed every minute of it. It is value for money if you take the time to look for all the hidden activity.

Fun place to visit especially with kids. Beautiful butterflies flying around you and little birds as well. Its small and warm (tropical). A bit expensive for what you get but worth a visit if you have a few hours to kill in Honfleur or if the weather outside isn't that great.

You get 5 min video of life cycle of butterflies. Then into the tropical garden with butterflies and tropical birds, koi carp. It's only the size of 2 tennis courts but with all the plants and a zigzagging path you can take your time.
How long? Young kids desperate to get a butterfly to land on them 1hr. Moody teenager wanting to get better reception on phone 5 mins.
Summary: worth a trip if you can spare the cash but don't book out half a day out (we did after lunch when it was raining).

...thousands of them in a small tropical space. Many are huge and it's quite an experience having so many wonderful butterflies flutter by. You can spend as long as you like there and photographers in particular will love the opportunities that the gardens present. There are some tropical birds, including chicks if you take the time to search them out. A very good option for kids of all ages.

How can anyone not enjoy this beautiful attraction? The Papillon are fantastic! A very special chance to spend taking photographs of over a hundred species of butterfly in the Naturospace. To be honest, the attraction is what you make of it and we went around several times to enjoy the various other fauna and flora. I have been to other butterfly parks and the admission fee seems very moderate to me and during our visit seemed to attract a wide range of visitors. If you are visiting Honfleur it is certainly worth a visit.

A really pleasant way to see birds and butterflies up close. It's not something you get the chance to do very often, and if you're waiting for a ferry in Le Havre or Caen, then it's worth stopping here for a visit.
I only knock off a star because it's quite expensive for something that you are finished with in an hour or less, but I suppose Honfleur isn't known for being a budget destination.

Nice but very small, half an hour is more than enough to enjoy, so would agree with many who said it is overpriced. What we liked the most - is the window where you can see real time how the butterflies are born from the cocoons

Charming host Regis. Pristinely maintained property with gorgeous gardens. Great location for walking to Giverny. Don’t miss Regis recommendation of Bords du Seine restaurant nearby. Lovely outdoor seating, excellent food, friendly staff and great value.

Hello,
Can children feed these butterflies?
Thanks.

Hello,
butterflies are very delicate and it is really better they not be touched or feeded. But you will be very close and you'll observer butterflies feed themselves into the flowers.
Hope to see you into the Naturospace.

Cordialement
