If you have little more time in Honfleur I suggest taking this walk (hike) to this old Church.
You leave the Honfleur tourist beehive and slowly climb the streets bypassing residential nice old houses seeing everyday life - so nice and quiet.
It takes around 20 min to reach this small Church which is very interesting and offering great views as well.

A little bit of effort to reach the place, but not too much, 20 minutes from the heart of the city. Impressive small white church located in an old fashion park. Visiting it you will avoid the crowded part of the city.

Just a 15 minute walk from the centre of Honfleur via the Rampe de Joli (a steep but well surfaced public footpath with spectacular views). This lovely little chapel is well worth a visit either on foot, by car or using the tourist train which includes the site in its informative round trip of Honfleur. Built in he 1600's to replace a previous church lost when the nearby cliff collapsed the Chapelle de Grace de Notre Dame has an exceptional interior with dedications on all walls of the local people who worked at sea. The church is associated with a souvenir shop which is part of the Pilgrims trail. Look out / listen out for the amazing modern bell tower which gives a musical rendition on the hour and every 15 minutes. And nearby the view over the Seine and Le Havre is very interesting

We had a good time picnicking at the top of the grace mont. the walk around it, is just fine to do with children as not too long. The church is lovely and the kids specially enjoy the magnificent bells : it is worth waiting to be on the hour to hear the tune!

Monet painted this church in 1864. The exterior was pretty to behold but nothing like the interior. This is not like the other churches, and has none of the 'tourism hype' like the larger cathedrals. The moment I stepped in, I could feel this was personal and sacred to the many who held this place in special regard within the special place inside them. The stained glass was superb and there was a panel with monks and this church in the background.

The chapel is at the top of a steepish hill not far from the centre of town. It is worth the climb for the view over the Seine and for the chapel itself. I believe that the Petit Train might visit here but the tourist season was over and it wasn't running.

The chapel itself is quite unusual in design - small and intimate in design with nice stained glass windows with a maritime theme running through it - sailors would come here to be blessed and ask for safety before setting off on a long voyage.

Do try to get there at the top of the hours as the rack of bells outside plays part of Bizet's L'Arlesienne before chiming the hour.

Make sure you are up to a longish climb before setting ou up the hill

There is a tourist train that takes you to the top, to visit the church, see the view and hear the bells ring. Wish we'd known as it was a hot walk up there. Strictly speaking I don't think the structure outside the church is a carrilon, but the sound was beautiful, and well worth being there to hear. But I am a bit of a church bells nerd. Great views from the top, particularly in the winter and spring I imagine.
