Unforgettable, is the first thought that strikes me when thinking of Rudy’s 2-day Normandy tour (Utah Beach (Utah Beach and Mont Saint Michel and Operation Luttich). As a light historical fiction history reader, I wasn’t totally sure that spending 2-days of our vacation on a tour was top on my list. Looking back, the 2 days with Rudy will be the most memorable and highlight of our 16 days in France. His passion for the history of this area will help ensure keeping the remarkable stories of war in the region alive. Rudy is an engaging, entertaining, brilliant tour guide who brings the battle storied alive. His assistant, Pierre doesn’t fall far from the tree.

We had a three day tour with Pierre who did an outstanding job providing an overview of the landings and actions of both the Allied Troops and the German Troops in Normandy during WW II.  He then followed it up with great details about each of the assorted invasions/battles and really brought it all together with our various location visits.  We wanted to see where my father in law had landed on Utah Beach and Pierre filled in all the details and insights regarding my father in law's landing and his Division's movements during the campaign.  It was most informative! Thanks for a great trip!

Normandy American Heros owner Rudy is an incredible historian and tour guide! Rudy picked us up in Paris for our 5 day tour. We were interested in following my Father in laws trek from when he landed on Omaha beach in the first wave until the liberation of Paris.

Rudy had done wonderful research and had many special places and people to share with us. He is incredibly knowledgeable and also very sensitive to the time needed to absorb what has been seen. He also introduced us to a wonderful historian in the small town of Saint Lo...the man was a gem so full of knowledge.
Each site we visited was brought to light by Rudy with visual aids and personal stories.

There was an addiction bonus that was also 5 star! We had ask Rudy to do an all inclusive tour with lodging and food. We stayed in Bayeux at an incredible hotel. Rudy had carefully chosen restaurants that would provide the "French" experience and boy oh boy did he achieve his mission. Each meal was different as was each restaurant. Upon arrival Rudy had arranged cold seafood platters at our hotel that were not only delicious but a work of art. We tried and loved everything he recommended, and it was so wonderful to not have to think or choose a place to eat when the day was done.

Rudy also scheduled a couple of places that were not "war" related for us to visit while in the area. Le Mont St. Michel, Monet's gardens , and the Tapestry at the Cathedral in Bayeux were so spectacular and it would have been ashamed to travel
so far and not visit. The town of Bayeux is so beautiful and old world, we are in love!

If you want the intensive side of the history of WWII and the added cultural knowledge of the Norman area you could never go wrong using Normandy American Heros!

My wife and two adult sons spent a fantastic 14 days with Rudy on his private Normandy to Berchtesgaden tour. We have traveled extensively and have taken many tours throughout Europe and beyond – both group and private tours. We can say, without any doubt or hesitation, that this tour with Rudy/Normandy American Heroes was hands-down the best tour, experience and adventure that we have ever had! We were also very blessed that the world-famous Passion Play (in Oberammergau, Germany) was being held this year after being delayed for the past two years due to the pandemic. Rudy arranged tickets to attend the play and expertly adjusted our tour schedule to accommodate the play – truly a once in a life-time experience that we will forever cherish.
Rudy is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate about the tour, the WWII history/battles and the men/women who were caught up in the tragic war. He made the tour personal. He is a walking/talking professor of history!
Rudy is very personable and caring. He is also humorous and witty. I also happened to have a birthday during our tour. Rudy surprised me (and my family) with a wonderful local fresh seafood platter/meal, wine and cake! Yummy and over the top!
When it came time for our tour to end, it felt like we were saying ‘au revoir’ to a family member. We will see Rudy again and we will be taking another tour with him one day soon. Truly and amazing experience!

My father and I spent 2 days with Rudy touring the sites of the Battle of Normandy. To say the tour(s) exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. Rudy had such a wealth of knowledge to share with us, I feel like we could have added 2 more days to our trip.

We visited both Omaha and Utah beaches, as well as many surrounding important sites. Even in the wind and rain, we thoroughly enjoyed this experience! It was the perfect balance of a guided tour, as well as Rudy letting us learn and explore on our own at various sites and museums. We visited during the off-season and one of the sites that we visited is currently closed until March, but Rudy was able to get us access.

I would recommend Normandy American Heroes to anyone looking for a deeper dive in to what happened here. It was an incredible experience - both educational, entertaining, enlightening and emotional. Cannot thank Rudy enough for sharing his time and knowledge with us!

My husband and I spent 4 days with Pierre Fallet from NAH visiting the D Day Beaches (Omaha, Utah, Gold), the Falaise area, and Mont-saint-Michel. We stayed in the town of Bayeux and each day were picked up by Pierre and driven in a private vehicle to the various sites, and towns.
Pierre was a knowledgeable guide, full of information about military history/tactics/lore. He is intense in his desire to make sure that the events in Normandy of June 1944 are remembered. His presentations to us about the heroics of those days were passionate, heart felt. He participates in re-enactments of WWII battles.
When we were planning our visit to Normandy with the specific purpose of touring the D Day sites, there were numerous tour operators available. Rudy Passera's NAH caught our attention, and after consulting with Myles, the marketing agent based in the US, we quickly made our choice. Myles provided hotel suggestions, answered numerous questions via email, and made the arrangements quite simple.
We enjoyed our days with Pierre immensely and found him to be a very courteous, likable young man, a good driver, a wonderful person to introduce us to the Normandy area of France, and provide insight into local fare, local customs, local color.
A private tour with a private guide as provided by Normandy American Heroes is THE way to learn about the WWII event of Normandy. NAH provides the personal attention, the flexibility to make the trip memorable .
This tour company is a class act. Pierre Fallet is terrific.

My wife and I toured the D-day Omaha and Utah beaches, associated sites including the village of St. Mere Eglise where American and British paratroopers landed, a number of museums and the American Cemetery above Omaha Beach with extremely knowledgeable, very informative and enjoyable guide Pierre from the highly regarded Normandy American Heroes private tour company. We did our visits over two full days in early December. It was extremely moving and inspirational. Pierre provided tremendous context and many details that gave us such a greater appreciation of all that transpired there when the fate of the free world was in great peril.

I would highly recommend you connect with and hire Normandy American Heroes for touring Normandy and the major D-Day battle areas.

Seeing and doing exciting things with my two sons
My sons and I just returned from a 14 day Normandy American Heros tour with Rudy Passera, we had an amazing experience, we were able to see and do so many great things, Rudy is so passionate about giving his clients an experience of a lifetime, he showed us many places that the big bus tours overlook or can't access.
The hotels he arranged for us were great, the restaurants we ate at all had great food and thanks to Rudy's knowledge he translated the menu's for us and urged us to try many new items we wouldn't normally try.
My sons wanted to attend Octoberfest in Munich and Rudy arranged for us to attend one evening, what a fun experience for all of us.
We went to Europe as strangers but we found a real friend and guide in Rudy, he is very knowledgeable in World War II, we had many somber moments but more important we laughed every day because of Rudy's sense of humor and caring attitude.
If you want the typical cookie cutter experience sign up for the big bus tours where you have a schedule to keep and 40 other people with you the entire time but if you want a personal tour where you see all the great places and see places where the bus can't go, if you want to do things at your own pace with a friend then book your tour through Rudy Passera, it was an adventure of a lifetime!!

Rudy is amazing. He worked with me on a custom, private tour for 3 adults in March 22. I had a lot of questions along the way, which he answered quickly and patiently :) Rudy offered ideas of unique stops to include along the way, all of which were a huge hit with our entire group. We appreciated having him take us through the last 3 days of our trip, from Bordeaux, through Loire Valley, up to Bayeux, and finally to CDG for our flight out. Highly recommend Normandy American Heroes for any of the standard tours or a custom option. Thank you NAH!

An 8 day private tour with Normandy American Hero’s Rudy Passera. The most wonderful trip and host we’ve ever experienced! Rudy provided excellent organization, hospitality and well planned daily trips, hotels, lunch and dinner venues along with suggesting the most amazing choices as to what to eat, having fun and relaxation after emotional and humbling days on the front lines of history! From the beaches of Utah, Omaha and Point du Hoc, Cathedral Notre Dame De Bayeux, Maisy Battery and Bunkers, Chateau LaRoche Guyon, Museums, Mont Saint Michel, American and German Cemeteries, Cathedral de Reims, more Museums, St Therese of Lisieux, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and so much more. Our host Rudy Passera was very knowledgeable, passionate and personable and the tour was more than we ever could have imagined and far exceeded our expectations! We would definitely recommend this tour, with Rudy, to everyone that wants to experience the battle adventures from Normandy to Bastogne! Thank you so very much, Rudy, The Thomas’
