Fantastic find
Sep 2019 • Friends
The fantastic attic was recommended to us and we are glad we stopped.
All sorts of local and WWII related items are available. Upstairs, in addition to war memorabilia to purchase, the shop has a lot of artifacts to to see in the cases.
The store is well put together and the owner is very friendly and helpful.

Could spend all my money
May 2018 • Couples
This shop has tons of WW2 memorabilia as well as authentic antiques that I have never seen. There were original maps, uniforms, tools , badges and so much more. There were beautiful retro radios and clocks everywhere, as well as so much home decor that was so gorgeous like wooden wall propellers. There are also gorgeous pieces of art that have veterans signatures on them that could easily max out my credit card. Recommend for anyone with antique taste or an interest in the war.

Just around the corner from another fun shop is this shop. The two shops are run by a husband and wife. This shop has a plane inside and other interesting war memorabilia.

UNIQUE SHOP WITH A PLANE INSIDE
Apr 2016 • Couples
The apartment we were staying in was owned by Marine, an amazingly friendly person who is also co-owner of The Fantastic Attic along with her husband. Have never seen another shop like this one, it is so unique. The building is 16th century, that in itself is pretty special, however, it is the DH 100 Vampire, 1952 fighter jet in the shop, which rounds it all off. The plane is displayed in five pieces, don’t know how they managed to get it all in the shop. WWII enthusiasts will not be disappointed with the range of WWII memorabilia and books on offer, particularly in the upstairs section. At ground level there is a range of quirky merchandise, ranging from old school type toys, to tourist material for sale. Located off the main street on Impasse de l’Islet, which is a charming little street, it is worth visiting this unusual shop if looking for something a bit different.

Shop ? Museum ?
Mar 2016 • Family
When we passed this shop coming back from the tapisserie we thought it is actually a museum with all those plane parts glooming through the window.
Yes, there is actually complete plane in this shop (you can actually see the complete one in Sinsheim (Auto&Technik Museum).
In this shop you can find small kits to build, model cars, books, memorabilia from the war (anyone a package of WW2 Lucky Strikes? - 45€). The mixture is what makes this shop so much fun. There is something for everyone.

Fantastic Museum Store
Aug 2015 • Couples
A great store that feels like a museum. Has nice Normandy gifts in all price categories. From small souvenirs to authentic artefacts from WOII. Especially the paintings and photo's were gorgeous.
