My husband and I did a full day tour with Willem. Fantastic! He asked us if there were any items on our must see list and once he found out we had special connection to the 83rd and big red 1 he tailored the trip to us while also making sure we saw the most important other tour highlights. Willem was extremely knowledgeable and it was very obvious he does this because he loves it and no other reason. He spent an additional two hrs with us once he found there was an 83rd infantry memorial in a town close by he made sure we saw it. We also traded cars for a bit to go to Utah beach (picture below) An unforgettable very special day due to Willem and the only way I would recommend seeing Normandy if you care at all about the history. Thank you Willem!!…

We visited Omaha beach , American center , the cemetry, and all other places arround. We got down from train ( Ex Paris) at bayeux station The entire area is meticulously kept and visitor friendly . The visitor center ladies are extraordinarily supportive What went wrong Total absence of local transport . Taxi was frightful expensive . No eating place . Only one near the station and the owner was quite a rude fellow Please carry your own food and drinks with you Definitely avoid going on Sundays.…

Our full day D-Day tour with Rene Oirschot (and his fellow WWII history friend :) was an amazing experience. Rene was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his presentation of the battle from broad scale to smallest details. Somehow he was able to get the whole day itinerary in from St. Mere Eglise, museums, the US beach landings, to the US cemetery, and much in between on a holiday in France in late May with very heavy traffic.. which took great effort and knowledge of the area. We are grateful for their efforts, learned and saw a lot, and would recommend the tour to anyone interested. You will not be disappointed!!…

The owner, Renee, was our guide and we could not have wished for a better experience. He truly loves his work and it shows in his attention to details and his enthusiasm in the explanation of the various sites. He enhanced the tour with the personal stories of several different soldiers who were in the D Day invasion. He has traveled to the US to interview veterans and has participated in reinactments of paratrooper parachuting exercises.. You will not be disappointed with this tour!…
