Olivier's knowledge and expertise are outstanding! His personality and presentation immediately put all four of us at ease and allowed me to focus on the mission to trace my father's steps from coming ashore at Omaha to the place where he was wounded the first time...Olivier took the bits of information that I was able to provide and found the location of the battle where it happened!! A little known bridge and intersection on the river Vire, near St Fromond, the 30th Division's first encounter with the deadly 17th SS Panzer, on the way to St.Lo. I cannot BEGIN to express my gratitude for the research that he did and the detail the he found to make this happen. We spent two full days together visiting the memorials at Utah and Omaha, as well as the German cemetery at La Cambe. When we left, we had made a friend and look forward to a return visit and more adventures with Olivier!!

This was easily our favorite tour from our France trip and probably one of the best tours we have ever been on! Olivier was incredibly informative, he not only knew the basic World War II information but also knew a lot of personal stories from the soldiers that were there. The stops he had were not your typical stops but they had fascinating stories. I cannot recommend this tour enough, if you want the best tour in Normandy this is the one to take!

My husband, two year old daughter and I just finished an incredible private tour with Olivier. As we are American, he focused on the Omaha and Utah areas but also gave a thorough overview of the British, Canadian and French Resistance forces. He clearly has a deep knowledge and passion for the Normandy invasion, and also for clearly and memorably imparting his guests with an appreciation for the complicated logistics and challenges the forces faced. We will be passing on his info to friends who are coming to the area this fall. In addition, his van is incredibly clean and he has perfect English having lived in the US for several years. He was on time, very patient with our daughter, and was accommodating when we took longer at some locations than planned. 10/10 - couldn’t have been better!

Both my wife and mt father's served in WW2 qand were very interested in touring Normandy. We had been on a Day tour several years ago which was not very informative nor satisfying. We were told by a family member about Normandy 44 Tours who stated that it was one of the best tours they had ever been on. I will say they were not wrong. Ben and his wife were excellent hosts and the tour was the best rour I have ever experienced. Ben is extremely knowledgable about Day and the Normandy area. His chalet was cozy, the farm fresh food was well prepared and the accommodations were more than we expected. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in DDay the Nrmandy area. Excellent tour.

We booked a day-long tour with Olivier, and it was an amazing day! Olivier is so nice and funny, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. He was so knowledgeable about all the sites in Normandy, and he even had details that I don't think many other tour guides would have. The weather our day was not great, and he took the time to make sure we were all comfortable. I would highly, highly recommend him. It was probably the best day we had on our holiday.
