Tom, our Guide was very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He really focused on tge American aspect of D Day, as everyone on the tour, was from the US. He was constantly giving us information regarding the invasion's planning, and execution. He used every opportunity to put us right at the location where specific stories took place, and kept everyone engaged. It is clear that this is a passion for him. Would highly recommend.

We were blown away with our all day private tour. I was bracing for a mundane tour guide, but boy I couldn’t be more wrong with who we received! Tom went above and beyond with his tour and his knowledge of history, the war, and the locations were second to none. Our 5 year olds came along and even they were entertained. We saw all the main sites and he showed us where to go if we wanted to see more on our own. This is a fantastic tour company and a great way to spend your day (and your money! 😉).

We have been with Andy (2) and Tom on (1) different day tours. They modified the tour based on the previous visits so we continue to learn more about the epic regional history. Tom was an amazing guide, loads of knowledge and detail.can’t wait for #4 trip.

We caught the half-day tour with Tom as our guide. He was very passionate and knowledgeable about the sites and the history, and he brought it all to life for us. We stopped at the cemetery just in time for the taps ceremony- very moving. This is a good company and I highly recommend them.

This 1/2 day tour was outstanding. Our guide, Tom, was the the most passionate, knowledgeable, and user-friendly guide we’ve ever experienced. His intricate knowledge of the sites (from German machine gun nest locations on Pont Du Hoc to detailed stories of unidentified US soldier graves at the US Cemetery), Tom made us all feel closer to the historical events with his mental re-enactment and knowledge. Andy and Tom run a first-class tour operation. We highly recommend Bayeux Shuttle for any of their 1/2-day or full-day tours!
