Great itinerary based on our objectives for seeing the D Day beaches and walking the areas that the troops moved through. So much to see and experience. Jenny was exceptional.

Flo and Jenny's WWII site tours and information is a phenomenal experience for anyone interested in learning about the history of World War II. Flo not only provided a unique and personalized tour of the History of WWII but also focused on sharing the personal accounts of those who have served.
I recently went on a trip to Normandy with a large group and Flo and Jenny's WWII site tours offered an unforgettable experience. Flo was our tour guide, and he was so nice and extremely knowledgeable. He took us to all the significant sites and gave us a detailed history of each location.
I learned so much about the battles that took place in Normandy during World War II and gained a better understanding of the sacrifices that were made. Flo's personal stories and accounts added an extra layer of depth to the experience, making it feel more meaningful and personal.

Flo and Jenny have traveled the world recording DDay veterans' stories and bring their depth of knowledge to create an incredible custom tour . This tour is not simply a drive around the locations but of their stories. Professional, engaging, fun, and meaningful.

In early June 2022, my husband, and I traveled with friends to the Normandy region to see the beaches and battlefields involved in the D-Day invasion. We had previously gotten to know Florent "Flo" when he was in the States for the development and viewing of a D-Day documentary (he had an integral role in the production).
As background, my husband and I had travelled to Normandy in 1999, with a copy of his father's itinerary as he and his unit moved from Normandy into Belgium (Ardennes), liberated the Nordhausen concentration camp and on to Leipzig. We saw the highlights in Normandy but not much more.
Our experience in June 2022 was the BEST experience we have ever had with a tour guide! As we were planning, Flo expressed his interest in the itinerary as many of the towns are in the area where he lives, and he wanted to make the tour as personal as possible. Jenny led our day and a half tour with heart wrenching and heart warming details. The were times when we felt like we had been transported back to 1944! One particular moment was along the roadside where Jenny pointed out a large field that had been the temporary burial place for several thousand Allied soldiers. There was no conversation, just a long, emotional silence as we stood there to contemplate the site and the soldiers' sacrifices. A contrasting experience was in Sainte Mere Eglise where there was dancing in the streets and many people in period dress.
Our time with Jenny and Flo changed the way we viewed Normandy and we cannot wait to go back for a longer period. We came away feeling like we knew these soldiers! Their stories were told with such warmth and reverence for their sacrifices.
If you are interested in only military facts, you can find any number of tours. But if you want to know the story BEHIND the story, Flo and Jenny are the couple to bring that to life. One word sums up my review - MAGNIFICENT!

Last July my daughter and I took a tour of the Normandy region with Florent and it was OUTSTANDING!! Florent is incredibly knowledgable about battles and different operations that took place when the allies started the liberation of Fortress Europe almost 79 years ago. Florent is a very warm and engaging person, highly enthusiastic about the sites and battles, and very motivated to ensure that we had an amazing tour. The highlight for me was seeing La Fiere and walking the grounds where one of the fiercest battles of the war took place. It's the D-Day battle you should of heard of, but prbably haven't. As a former U.S.Army Infantryman, it was very humbling to walk the same ground that my Infantry forebears fought and bled at. The highlight for my teenage daughter was riding in the vintage U.S.Military jeep through the hegderows and bocage of Normandy. She said it felt like she was in a Led Zeppelin song. Before our tour, Florent called me and asked what I was interested in seeing. He "customized" my expereince and made it very memorable for us. Avoid the generic, cattle car, assembly line bus tours and book a tour with Florent or his very knowledgabe wife Jenny, for an experience that you will never forget!!

Jenny Post is an understanding D-Day guide. We recommend her and her husband Florent Plana whole-heartedly. We approached the idea of a D-Day tour with skepticism. We are an American couple in our 60s with no family or other personal connection to D-Day. Jenny changed that. With understated grace and dignity, she unfolded one moving story after another about the people and events of D-Day. Her own life-story, growing up surrounded by D-Day memories and now making her life in Normandy, preserving precious stories of D-Day veterans, is moving and delightful. Jenny guided us with a rich store of facts, a warm and deep commitment to her subject, and a genuine sensitivity to the emotional impact of our experience. Thanks to Jenny, we came with a broadened understanding of D-Day and its continuing importance. Altogether, an outstanding day.

We just returned from an amazing two week trip to France that included long anticipated visits to Normandy, Brittany, Giverny, Arles, Lyon. Without reservation I can say that the highlight of the trip was being guided by Florent Plana and Jenny Post on consecutive days that included Omaha and Utah beaches, the American and German cemeteries and internal locations that reflected airborne experiences and behind the lines dramas. These two young people, two generations from the war have a passion for collecting and telling the stories that personalize the heroism and magnificence of the fight for all our freedoms. They made history resonate. We felt incredibly lucky to have shared the experience with them. The only thing that would have made it better was if we had contacted them directly before the trip with the information about our veteran father so that they could research him!

Our family booked a personalized Tour and could not have been happier with it. Truly the highlight of our Europe trip. Flo contacted us ahead of time to see what our interests were. We told him an uncle jumped with the 101st Airborne ahead of D-Day and that our son loves WWII history. Flo took us all over Normandy and showed us the route Uncle George would have taken as well as following the tracks of the Band of Brothers movie. His knowledge is extensive and answered any and all questions. The ride in the Dodge WC51 troop carrier was the cherry on top to a perfect day! Would highly recommend this amazing experience.

Our visit to the Normandy beaches was the highlight of our trip to France. Flo was so knowledgeable and passionate about the men who gave their lives. Flo was easy to talk to and made the day one we’ll never forget.
