We planned a last minute private tour and it was raining off and on. Iain asked what we wanted to see and he created our tour for us. I was traveling with my father and 15 year old son. Not too many things impress my son, but this did! He said it was his favorite part of our trip. I learned so much!

What a wonderful tour guide and an amazing person! Our party of five consisted of two adults, 12 year old, 8 year old and 3 year old. Our trip to France started with many, many airline delays and Iain was very adaptable and understanding. He re-arranged his entire scheduled tour so that we could still visit the most important sites with the limited time remaining. He was a tremendous help in communicating with our AirBnB host and our kids loved him. My three-year old cried at the completion of our tour because he wasn’t going to get to see Iain again. Iain was very well spoken, easy to communicate with, well-versed in D-Day history and determined to make sure we had the best experience possible. I would highly recommend Iain!

Our family of 6 had a terrific time visiting Mont St Michel and the DDay sites. Iain customized an itinerary that worked perfectly for us. He was a pleasure to work with as we planned our visit. We started with an early morning pickup at CDG and an interesting drive along the cheese route to Mont Saint Michel. After seeing the incredible sunrise over the MSM Abbey, we continued onto Bayeux and this was where Iain shined. His knowledge of the DDay sites and WWII history was incredible and he kept everyone's interest, which is notable as we ranged in age from adult, to college students, to an 11 year old. Unfortunately, we were forced to change our plans for our last day in Normandy due to illness and Iain was very flexible and supportive. He drove us back into Paris that evening. I would highly recommend NormandyONtour.

We were with a group of 30 people and arrange a visit to Arromanches together with Lain/Normandy on Tour. Lain is a great personality with a passion for what he is doing. He prepared everything well in advance and we recommend him for a DDay-trip

We spent two days with Iain and he was the perfect guide for us. We had two elderly gentleman with mobility issues and Iain was incredibly accommodating in providing a pace and wheelchairs where needed so that our family could enjoy the Normandy coast and D-Day sites to the best of their ability. His knowledge and passion for the subject and area came across clearly and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Everyone in our group from ages 13-88 enjoyed themselves and came away enriched from the experience. Thanks Iain!
