Jonathan Dale --- Normandy History Tours--- A Review When one is fortunate enough to be able to spend nearly a month touring France, much of which at five-star level, you gather no small number of rich, rewarding, and memorable moments. It is no exaggeration to say that the day we spend with Jonathan Dale on his tour of Normandy was among the very top of those experiences. This proved to be just about the finest, most enriching, day we spent in France. Johnathan facilitated our tour with passion, intelligence, an infectious sense of humor, a detailed knowledge of history, and a profound appreciation of the tragic. Jonathan offered to this tour an enthusiasm that brought to life a vivid understanding and appreciation for a time that made its generation the greatest. Certainly, there are many excellent tour guides in this world. But, in a fashion that provokes the sense that you are among family, Jonathan brings to the experience something special. It makes for a tour that is not only exceptional, but is also transformative. We have referred several friends to Johnathan Dale’s Normandy History Tours with nothing but explementary reviews. Don’t miss this one. And bring with you your journal. RAN Newport Beach, California

Amazing Tour by Jonathan. My wife and I had an awesome experience seeing WWII sights and the Normandy Countryside with Jonathan. Laid back tour with the flexibility to do what we wanted, and the expertise by the guide to know where to go and the details of each place. Fun conversation and day exploring Normandy. I would highly recommend this tour guide!!!

Our cruise ship didn't offer a tour of the American Sector. Jonathan picked us up and gave us a personalized tour. I highly recommend this tour over going it alone, the amount of detail, history & local knowledge was worth it!! Thanks again for the wonderful day!

We had an excellent afternoon around the American D-Day places with Jonathan (pointe du Hoc, Omaha beach, American cemetery in Colville as well the interesting German military cemetery in La Cambe). Jonathan is very knowledgeable and his anecdotes kept our 2 boys (10 & 12) entertained and the whole family captivated, all in a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend a guided tour with Jonathan to get the extra details that you wouldn’t get from a guide book or a school history book.

I had a really good time with John. I loved that he was able to meet us at the train station in Bayeux. I had jet lag and didn’t want the worry of renting a car. He bright to life what it was like living on the rock. If your going to get the omelette, get the one that’s got something stuffed in it.
