Our driver/guide Gwen was an encyclopedia of information about the history of WW2 and especially the Normandy landing by allied forces in June 1944. Our time was well spent, ending at the American cemetery just before the flag was lowered and taps played. Excellent value and time well spent.

Did the 8 hour band of brothers tour. First half was visits to Omaha and Utah beaches with all the background. As well as the American cemetery and paratrooper (101st/82nd) museum which was fantastic! Ate lunch at an incredible local crepes restaurant (not included in the tour fare). The afternoon was following the steps of the band of brothers (Easy company) so either read the book or watch the HBO series before you come and it will be much more meaningful because they go over specific things each of the soldiers were doing by name! Thank you so much Rethro and Jordan. We have spent nearly a month in Europe and this is all our most memorable tour. Even for the 17 year old, who was never bored!

I struggled to find a tour from Bayeux to Omaha Beach at first, as many tour companies are currently not operating (or not operating on weekends). Finally I came across Normandy Sightseeing Tours and I'm very glad I joined their half-day tour to Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American cemetery. Guide Adrien was very knowledgeable and friendly, and conducted the tour in both French and perfect English. We were a small group of just three people, so there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. We also had a bit of free time to walk around and take pictures in Omaha Beach and the cemetery, which I appreciated.

This tour was fantastic. Adrian was our tour guide and we had him all to ourselves. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We visited the German cemetery, Utah Beach, the Airborne museum in Sainte-Mère-Église, the American cemetery, and Omaha Beach, all shuttled via air conditioned van. We could've driven ourselves around all the sites but we would've missed out on all of Adrian's stories and background. Take the tour!
