Where do we begin!? We had a small window to get some Normandy sightseeing in while we were staying in Paris for our wedding anniversary. I originally reached out to LinkParis.com as they offered day trips that included train tickets to and from Paris. We only had one day to get up to Normandy and schedule a tour. Laura with LinkParis worked with our limited schedule and got us connected with Sabrina for our Saturday trip. And, boy are we glad she did! Sabrina is a wealth of knowledge. We left Paris at 7:33 am and arrived at Bayeux a little before 10:30 am. Sabrina cheerfully greeted us at the end of the train platform and our whirlwind day was off to a great start (It was nonstop touring Normandy until Sabrina took us back to the train station at 6:30pm!). My husband and I are WW2 history enthusiasts and Sabrina came equipped with charts, graphs, WW2 era photographs and written facts in printed form. Throughout the day we referred to the maps and her reference material quite a bit. In one day Sabrina showed us the ins and outs of: Omaha Beach, The Longues-sur-Mer battery, Pointe du Hoc, Arronmanches Harbor and the American Cemetery. She brilliantly planned the day and made adjustments as we finished lunch so we were able to experience Taps the American Cemetery. We appreciated her attention to detail and her communication. Throughout the day she checked in with us to ensure we were seeing all of our top spots and if we wanted to spend additional time at any of the stops. She also seemed to know everyone at each place of interest and made sure to pass on any inside info she gathered from her contacts. We highly recommend touring with Sabrina! You wont find a better guide with more personality or information out there! She was a real treat to spend the day with. Our only regret is we didn't get a chance to take a group photo with her.

Sabrina was amazing....from her rich knowledge of WW2 history to her story-telling passion and great English speaking skills, she makes you want to come back. She gave us useful information during planning, was patient with the kids, and always punctual. She is a perfect book especially when you're new in France. She went ahead to recommend WW2 books and movies and even sent us some photos after our departure! Our visits to Omaha beach, the war memorial cemetery, St. Mere Eglise, Utah beach and Mont. Saint Michel will always be memorable, thanks to her well-articulated commentaries.

Sabrine is wonderful. She showed us all of the American landing beaches and provided a great overview of all the events. the timing. The strategy and the consequences of this battle.
Her accounts were historically accurate and engaging, the 8 hour tour went like a flash. My 10 year old was totally engaged in the story and loved it.

Totally loved it. and totally recommend it.

We spent two unforgettable days with Sabrina. Our first day focused on the D-Day invasion. We visited the American cemetery, Utah and Omaha beaches, German bunkers, and Normandy churches. The whole time, Sabrina's narration not only made the history come alive, but also created a moving connection to the events that took place over 75 years ago. On our second day, we visited Honfleur (focusing on the charming town and the origin of French Impressionism) and Caen (visiting William the Conquerer's fortress). I cannot recommend Sabrina enough.

The weather was dreadful on the day of our tour, just a few days after the 75th anniversary. It poured the entire day of our tour, but Sabrina made the best of it. It was eerily similar to the gloomy day 75 years earlier. Sabrina communicated with me via email many times before we met to ensure we were taken care of. We took the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Caen and an early service to Bayeux to meet the tour. Sabrina is a Normandy native and very knowledgeable about all the sites. I feel she is maybe a lesser known guide, but should pick up through word of mouth as her reviews are all glowing. She took time to answer questions and point out Band of Brothers/Longest Day/Saving Private Ryan landmarks to those interested. Since we were there so close to the anniversary festivities there were some parts of the Omaha cemetery we couldn’t access. I felt like we didn’t have as much time there as I’d like, but there is so much to cover in only a day. If I had more than a day I’d definitely try do something multi day. It was nice because many of the sites were still decorated for the anniversary. I would recommend watching Band of Brothers and maybe some other significant D Day movies before to better understand some references. I enjoyed going to the church in Angoville Au Plain as I think most tours skip that. Since I am from not far from Camp Toccoa that was especially interesting. I would go on another tour with Sabrina in a heartbeat. I hope to go back to Normandy again one day.

We booked Sabrina for a D Day tour over the Christmas holiday. She kindly worked with me over multiple emails to find a date that worked for us and to recommend other guides for Mt. Saint Michel, car options, etc., for the days when she was unavailable. Unfortunately, our train to Bayeux was cancelled due to the strike and we were not able to get there. I let Sabrina know but did not ask for nor expect any sort of refund of our deposit. It was not her fault. She had more than fulfilled her obligation to us. But -- I have just received an email from Sabrina crediting our entire deposit. This act of generosity, plus her 100% 5 star ratings, mean that, when we are able to travel to Normandy, we will certainly book Sabrina and you should, too.

Hoping this is not a repeat, hit a technical glitch!
We had a great "half" day with Cedric. He is relaxed, informative and warm. We used an 8-passenger van. He was on time for pickup from our hotel (Hotel Le Bayeux, a lovely, quiet, small inn perfectly located and with a great breakfast spread). The "half day" was 5.5 hours. This was a good amount of time as the tour subject matter is emotionally wrenching. Cedric is most interested in the stories of individuals in the war, not so much the strategy and famous names, although he has a good knowledge of the details/dates etc if you want them. He was flexible with drop-offs, taking one young man to the train station and us to a lunch spot. He helped us to find a place to eat afterward. Payment was relaxed - added to our hotel bill and paid after the fact.
We had a lovely day, thank you Cedric!

We had an exceptional full day, private tour of the Normandy region with Sabrina and we highly recommend her to others who are seeking a knowledgeable, considerate and enjoyable tour guide. The vehicle was so comfortable and since Sabrina grew up in the region, she knows all the back stories, special routes and highlights of the region. Her historical and detailed knowledge helped us appreciate even more the enormous planning and execution of Operation Overload on D-Day and to see it all firsthand was an experience we will always cherish. In addition, Sabrina was very attentive to my husband's physical limitations and we enjoyed her positive energy and enthusiasm to customize the tour to our needs. She answered all our questions and clearly enjoys sharing her passion of this unique history with others.

In short, the perfect realization of a lifelong dream. That dream came through last week. I could not have asked for a better guide than Sabrina Pitois. Her intimate knowledge of the area and the history, combined with the evident passion in her eyes and her clear articulation of events, brought them to life before us. I've read about the landings and we've seen the movies but I gained a new perspective and appreciation for just what was involved in the planning and execution of the landings. Sabrina featured individual stories and details that added a richness to the entire experience, picking up on and elaboration on areas of interest to me. She also went far above and beyond the call of duty in helping me to resolve a problem I had created for myself. It would not have been resolved without her assistance and innovative problem-solving.

Sabrina was an amazing guide! She provided our group with a wonderful tour. It was very informative with her ability to bring the battlefield to life with her stories of the D-Day events at each site. She also told us stories of her grandparents who went through the occupation as well as their D-Day experiences. I highly recommend her as a guide for your Normandy Beaches tour.
