I came here with two English friends and a local friend (who chose the venue) and we all thought it was brilliant. TV and movies themed drinks were nice, the walls are covered in memorabilia and art, as well as having nice spots like Harry Potter's bedroom under the stairs. Lots of games to pick up and play at the tables too, as well as video game areas. A really social experience all round.

I've been to Lille a few times now, but my latest visit was the first time I'd been to Dernier Bar. It's safe to say that, if and when I go to Lille again, I'll be making a beeline back there.
I'm sure that many bars in Lille have a great choice of French and Belgian beers, good and reasonably priced wines and excellent cocktails, and Dernier does too. However it also has a brilliantly relaxed vibe, tons of sci-fi and comic book memorabilia and a games console loaded with thousands of old classics and set on free play! Oh and it's just round the corner from the Grand Place too.
If you're a bit of a geek who likes a good drink and happen to be in Lille then get yourself to Dernier Bar. You won't want to leave.

We liked this bar. Fun and funky. The bar staff were pleasant and it had a nice atmosphere. Wide selection of beers and lots of movie memorabilia to look at while you drink.

Very cool little bar, will bring out the inner geek in anyone. If you don't speak French you'd might as we'll not bother with the games (unless you already know how to play) jut theres a good selection of beers and cocktails and the staff seem like good fun.
Very clever that the tardis leads to the toilets.
I could easily spend a long time in here.

As we were staying in Lille for only a few days we didn’t really know were all the good bars were but we stumbled purely out of luck on this unusual bar.
A great atmosphere with great staff and very busy bar.
Again we had help with ordering some drinks and there was an ingenious entrance to the toilets in the guise of a dr who telephone box .
No food service that I could make out but nonetheless a really good bar will definitely visit again.

Comics, movies, sci-fi, etc.. This great bar, with some beer cocktails, has it all. There's even a game room upstairs. Friendly staff and fun environment. Must visit when in Lille!

We stumbled upon this bar as it is just around the corner from our hotel and it was a complete surprise. The decor was made up of a blend of sci-fi, comic book and war games merchandise. The entrance to the toilets was even a replica of the police box from Dr Who! There was a wide selection games and other related activities for patrons to entertain themselves and a jazz band playing on the upper floor. A reasonable selection of Belgian ales finished the offerings of this quirky bar. A great place to spend a couple of hours on a wet Lille afternoon.
