When we found the Toulouse art gallery closed for refurbishment we decided to come here and have a quiet morning in the park instead. As well as the numerous plants and trees to see there is a very good café, and a water feature with ducks and geese ‘performing’ for the visitors. Wandering around were numerous chickens with a rather possessive cockerel who will chivvy you away if you get too near his ladies.
There is a childrens’ playground and carousel type ride . If you are feeling energetic there is exercise equipment. If you fancy sitting in the park and reading, and your French is up to it, the local Maire provide free books.
Well worth a visit.

A great place to spend an afternoon or an hour to meander through. Very well maintained and manicured garden. Lots of pleasing statues, water features and animals wandering around. Peaceful and relaxing.

Very close to the downtown, this public garden is linked to two others thanks to pedestrian bridges overpassing the streets. Therefore you can walk safely for quite a long time within gardens.
Jardin des plantes is also remarkable because of many sculptures, mostly classical but some are contemporary, and water pieces. Moreover, you can see a model of a T-Rex skeleton in the backyard of the neighboring Museum of Natural History.
Very enjoyable in summer for a walk or a rest.

Always beautiful, all year long. The 'wheel' design is lovely and means I kept discovering new parts (a big circular garden in the middle with 'spokes' coming out of it). Lots of little attractions for kids and really close to the Museum. But most of all, a great place to sit and enjoy the sun.

This is a great little park, an oasis amongst all of the buildings.
The fountains are lovely as is the small lake. There is a wonderful band stand which must be seen to be appreciated. The bridge with plants is most unusual and lovely.
Every City needs green spaces for people to chill out and this one whilst small was just great.

Generally great park as summarised in other reviews but couldn’t see much mention from others of the fantastic kids playpark!
Obviously loved by locals so quite busy but all sorts of climbing equipment across all age ranges led to a happy time had by parents and adventurous 2 year old who needed to let off steam after cultural visits.
The central location, clean green spaces, trees for hide and seek, cafes and other points of interest such as the waterfall make for an ideal family friendly park which we keep returning to during our week in Toulouse.

I just enjoyed wandering through the gardens seeing the new growth on the trees and the flowers in full bloom. A pleasure just to walk and sit and enjoy the warmth of the sun and the peacefulness of the garden

A lovely example of a European city park. Trees, beautiful flowers, walking paths, duck ponds, benches, statues, cafes, and even amusement park rides for children. This is a great place to destress from the chaos that is life in central Toulouse .

Bonjour, millepardons, je n'avais pas vu le message. J'imagine que c'est trop tard, mais oui, il y a un parking à côté, où on peut payer par carte bancaire ou pièces.
