And in a very interesting building, courtyard, church and cloisters. The new gallery with stonework displayed in an almost Moorish and very modern manner actually works very well. A very relaxing and calming visit, away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby shopping area. A...More

We loved every minute of our visit. The exhibitions and galleries are set around the square of the cloisters which in themselves are magnificent. The whole place is spacious and light, with the objects placed and lit with care. The paintings need more space perhaps,...More

The sculptures are incredible, but the structure is the real star. The building was formerly an Augustinian monastery and includes a cloister and church, a striking background for the sculptures. Even non-musseum lovers will find this worth the visit.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the wealth of interesting artworks in this beautiful ancient church and monastery building dating from the 14th century. We loved being able to wander through the rooms filled with sculptures and paintings covering a wide span of history. There...More

Of the several buildings and displays (all of which are worth a visit) the church is the most amazing. The architecture and decoration are simple yet awe inspiring. Toulouse does not have any truly first-tier attractions, but this one is the best there is.

A beautiful setting, with a few minor works by painters of whom you've heard, but loaded with paintings by artists of deservedly minor reputation. My wife is an artist, and while we found the interiors lovely, the paintings were a quick walk-through.

Normally, these sculptures are high up on cathedrals. This collection is at eye level and what an eye opener that turned out to be. I absolutely loved it. They also have a good collection of Flemish paintings onwards, unfortunately, impressive though they were, I was...More

This is another place we hadn't planned on while in Toulouse, but it is also a Toulouse "must-see". The museum itself was a beautiful piece of work. It was compact and easy to navigate. It was well laid out and as you moved through the...More
