Great collection in a fascinating building - especially the impressionists and post-impressionists. My personal highlight was Pissarro's painting of Dulwich College where I was once a pupil, as I didn't know the original was here. Only two negatives (which prevent this being a 5 star...More

The art collection found at the Foundation Bemberg is an eclectic and amazing assemblage of western European art. As others have pointed out the information provided in the gallery is very light on. However, is one there to read or to enjoy the art?

Best Bonnard collection that I have ever seen! This may be the best art museum in Toulouse. The second floor collection of Impressionist paintings is impressive! We had lunch at the museum on the terrace, which is an elegant way to start one's visit.

If you visit one museum in Toulouse, this is it. The collection is not at the level of major museums like those in Paris or New York, but it is interesting and well displayed.

Like any private collection, this one reflects the taste of the collector, Argentine art patron and writer Georges Bemberg, an American educated part-time Parisian. No great holdings, but about 15 rooms of interesting paintings, furniture and objets d'art. They could use far better arrangement and...More

This is a first rate private art collection, along the lines of the Wallace in London or the Frick in New York. Make sure you pick up the 'free' information leaflet at the entrance (it was available in English), which has a wealth of detail...More

Intriguing collection, reasonably well presented. Would benefit from more information about each piece and how/why the collection was put together.
