We visited this rich art collection for the time in three years and had the same pleasure as the first time. The palace is worth the visit by itself and qppears to be just the most beautiful you can see in Toulouse and certainly one...More

Good collection of paintings, particularly some impressionists. Impressive for a private collection. The building itself has an old world charm, with a cool restaurant in the courtyard. Worth a visit if you can squeeze it into your schedule, but not top priority, e.g., compared to...More

This is one of France's great art collections which I was lucky to view before the tourist rush. I went twice, in May and June 2016. During those months, it could be seen without the hoardes of tourists that is experienced at the Louvre and...More

Maybe it was the wonderful sunshine and blue skies but when we hit the courtyard entrance, it was a wow-this-is-beautiful moment. No clear sign though to say 'entrance this way' as there are two ways to go.It's the stairs entrance you have to pick, which...More

The beautiful Hotel d´Assézat Renaissance building holds the fantastic Bemberg private collection of Art (paintings, ceramics, exotic objects, etc). It´is, by far,the best museum of Toulouse, don´t miss it.

Must admit, until recently visiting Toulouse for the first time I'd never even heard of the Fondation Bemberg. But it deserves to be much better-known. Relatively small, housed in an attractive old building, it contains a high proportion of masterpieces of European art. Some great...More

Good way to spend the afternoon on a cold January day. A shame a few keys pieces were missing, on loan to other galleries.

A wonderful collection of fine arts in a beautiful Renaissance style mansion. The bound books and the porcelain are particularly spectacular as are some of paintings (Pissaro, Picasso etc) I spent 2 hours here.

Another great museum in a lovely building. Well laid out with art ranging from 16th - 20th century with good 19th century collection of French artists.

The museum had been recommended by our local host and we were not disappointed. The collection is in a wonderful setting and contains art from the medieval to the impressionists together with some lovely furniture and other objects. Very well presented and of a manageable...More
