Airbus Tour

A great experience. Saw four A380's ( all Emirates ) being assembled. Also there were a couple of A350's ( Ethiopian airways ) being assembled.

I found the tour wanting. It wasn't free either. We had to book using passport details couple of days in advance as they said they have to do security check on us. So I thought we're going to see something special. We joined an English speaking group. The tour was basically 4 parts. First where all the 380 parts were... More

We went on the English speaking tour and then did the aeroscopia museum afterwards. The tour was really good and the guide quite knowledgeable about the Airbus assembly. A few people have mentioned that the factory floor itself isn't busy and there were only a few people moving around - people need to understand that planes do not get assembled... More

MY ADVANCE WARNING : DONT GO ! This was my worst experience of ANY visit to any establishment let alone something supposedly so scientific and "advanced" technological manufacturing. Absolutely nothing good about this tour whatsoever particularly when you factor in the high cost and time wasting particularly the advanced booking etc. The only lucky thing in our case was we... Sadly this tour is a missed opportunity for Airbus. You take a coach to see a couple of airplanes parked in the distance, spend half an hour looking at a map of the airport and Airbus locations, followed by a visit to a viewing platform overlooking semi finished A380s in the distance. Honestly it was very poor and came away... More

It is hard to call this a tour as you don't really see anything. Yes, you get on a bus and ride over the assembly plant but once there you don't see them assembling anything. Unpainted planes are sitting there. The workers are inside, you see nobody moving, hear no sounds. The part where they assembly the plane together is... More

The tour was very interesting and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Would have been nice to go inside the retired A380.

If you are a fan, you should go though you may not get access to as much places as you would like to be. Certainly worth visiting just getting a feel of how a company may affect the development of a city! In Toulouse, either you are a student or you work for/with Airbus.

This is a nice tour for 2-3 hours as there is a chance to go through the museum, but also see the construction of the A380, which runs 400m Euros per unit. It was hard to imagine Emirates airlines purchasing more than 100 of these at one time. Their production capacity and logistics is mind-boggling as Airbus continues to accumulate... More

I am a fan of anything that flies so I jumped at the opportunity to tour this factory. Was attended a conference in Toulouse and this tour was part of the cultural package. We arrived and it was difficult getting the tickets as the ticket lady was unable to communicate in English but lucky for us, someone in the group... More
