Catholic procession is a must - very uplifting. Drink the water, bathe and go to mass. there could be some healing as all my high iron, blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol were brought down to normal. But pray and walk.

The possibilities for moments of grace at the Sanctuary of Lourdes can be endless. Some examples I experienced: 1. The short windows of open space and quiet at the Grotto: visit early in the morning, before the 7:00 am mass, or late at night, before or after the 11:00 pm mass, during the pilgrimage period. These are also the best times... Pilgrimage at the sanctuary has to be done at least once in your life. Ideal place to reconnect with yourself and with God

The Sanctuary is beautiful and you just feel at peace when you are there. We participated in both processions, and was such a memorable experience. Having a chance to tour the church, the Grotto, and even the cold baths, it feels as if all your worries go away while you are there. Truly a miraculous experience.

I'm not religious myself but the experience was still extraordinary. It was not as busy as I was expecting and the atmosphere was very calm and peaceful making it a lovely experience. I would definitely visit again if I were nearby.

We were fortunate to visit the Sanctuary during the Jubilee Year of Mercy. At the information desk/office, we picked up a Jubilee passport, performed some of the tasks, and got this passport stamped (a great personal souvenir). We were here in early October, so it wasn't too crowded during the afternoon. There was plenty of seating areas to meditate and... More

My husband and I visited Lourdes for a short weekend break. The shrine is so serene, that we prayed all day within the grounds. Will definitely come back...in a much warmer months.

It is easy to think back to one October afternoon sitting on the benches next to the Gave river listening to the water run over the rocks. The sun peeked in and out of the clouds and complemented a slight breeze. We had just completed the baths (which is a must - It is so refreshing to be dipped into... More

We arrived at Tarbes Airport Tuesday Nov. 22 around 1 PM, grabbed our rental car then drove to Lourdes to check in at Panorama Hotel (did seperate review of the hotel). Immediately went to The Bath since it was open only until 3:30 PM during this winter season. There were only about 6 people in front of me when I... More
