Truly unforgettable place of serenity, peace and prayer. I enjoyed a full week of spending time around the grotto and witnessing thousands of pilgrims in prayers, in processions, lining up to the bath or attending mass. A spiritual journey I will cherish always. I brought back with me a full 5 litre of holy water from the well and beautiful... More

We can pray as our devition for Mother Mary and also for Blessed Sacrament. If you need to pray in front if grotto in a silent condition, it is better after the last mass around 23.45-05.30 in the morning. At July the weather is hot, when I stay there the temperatur hit 33C.

We were and continue to stay touched by the blessed mother. The grotto where she appeared to St. Bernadette is gorgeous.

Primarily what I came to Lourdes to visit, pray. Beautiful church with incredible mosaic details. Also prayed in the small chapel with the relic of Saint Bernadette for ..... There are three churches within one big structure. Something new for me to experience. The baths is a must visit for me. There are three time schedules per day. Separate sections... More

A first time visit to Lourdes for a pilgrimage with friends and the Derry Jublee Pilgrimage, proved to be a delight from start to finish. The Grotto is lovely in its simplicity, Very moving with the large number of pilgrims of every nationality. Torchlight Procession @ 9.00 PM every night amazing and humbling while also being immensely uplifting. Despite the huge... More

We went on a pilgrimage. What was supposed to be a 3 1/2hour journey one way turned into a 7 1/2 hour to Lourdes. Seemed like everybody was on a holiday with the bikes and thing on the roof. Anyway we made it there and it was worth it. The grotto and surrounds are beautiful. The only blemish to Lourdes... More
