Easily one of the most impressive sacral buildings i have visited. It looks like a silo from the outside, and isnt particularly inviting, but once inside, you will be in awe - high ceilings, every little space painted, and not over-run. There are interesting side-chapels dedicated to various saints, all quite differently decorated. You will actually find plenty of space... More

This cathedral is set in an ancient area of old Albi. The cathedral itself is wonderful but it is also surrounded by other old buildings and lovely bars and restaurants. There are colourful gardens on many levels overlooking the wide and picturesque river. Next to the cathedral is the Toulouse Lautrec museum.

This cathedral is the largest brick structure in the Northern Hemisphere and is well worth a visit. I recommend getting the audio tour to fully take it all in

Regarded to be the worlds largest brick cathedral, it is inspiring. Outside the golden light plays beautifully on the red brick, but when you step inside it is just wonderful.

My wife and I traveled to Albi on a tour of the Occitanie Region of France. Of the Cathedrals that we saw, this one was very impressive. The brick on the outside of the building is said to be the only Cathedral of that size in the world to be constructed out of brick. There is an audio tour that... More

This cathedral is very unique. Made with bricks. Beautiful and impressive. The inside is also very nice. It is in the heart of Albi in a bery nice area with many restaurants and shopping areas.

This rose brick edifice is an amazing creation in pale pink bricks. The interior is a feast of colour indulgence with virtually every surface being painted

We had to look twice for the entrance for wheelchairs (at the backside close to the entrance of Toulouse Lautrec).

Great architecture, lots of interesting side chapels and paintings to visit. The craftsmen explained what they were doing to restore the part they were working on.
