Wonderful candy and gracious staff

This a fine destination for seeing, tasting and learning about chocolate in a family-friendly shop. The owner, Patrick, spent a great deal of time describing his candy creations to our "chocoholic" daughter and then helped her with her selections. He was very patient and informative, and the whole family enjoyed the experience. It is a small shop filled with delights. We recommend highly.

Best chocolate shop in town

Verdun is not a big town, and within a spitting radius there are easily about a dozen chocolate and dessert shops. Yet this is the only one that's made it onto TripAdvisor, with a very good reason. It offers the best chocolates in town. Each time we visit, we're offered a little sample. We like this gesture of confidence, as the product speaks for itself, really.
Not only is it a chocolate shop, it doubles as a teahouse, and the in-store ambiance is really lovely.
Full disclaimer: we're most probably biased since we're acquainted with the chocolate master, but where else will you get a chance to speak and interact with the person who made your chocolates? Very friendly chap who speaks English too, so don't hesitate to drop in and say hello!

Pleasant diversion

Our WWI Centennial Tour was on the road from 8:00AM - 10:00PM.

We have no way to say "the best chocolates;" however, all of our group made various purchases.

Very interesting displays and well worth a 1/2 hour diversion.

We recommend!

Chocolate Heaven

What's not to love ! Our only regret is that we did not buy more of the homemade "Nutella" !! We also love the hot cocoa mix. The shop owner allowed us to taste several things and spent time chatting with us. This is a highlight in Verdun.
