When there to see the roof and was impressed with its organic form and the quality of the natural lighting filtering the roof fabric. Unfortunately the attention to architectural details don’t flow though to the museum internal spaces.
When we were here, there was a mildly interesting Colours and Light exhibition on the first floor. But the Couples Modernes exhibition on the remaining floors was very interesting! Certainly worth a visit! Add to that the nice building, and the closeness to the city...More
It was so nice to be with my son in Pompidou. He like it very much, the architecture of the building. Contemporary art is interesting for the children. Video art and everything is so amazing. The admission is free for children!

Easy parking just around the corner. Dramatic and dynamic building of Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines. Some of my favourites in the collection: Kahlo, Matisse, Arp, Eames and Aalto. Good bookshop if you speak the lingo.
The best thing about the building is the wavy roof. I wasn't impressed by the interior which is quite boxy and difficult to find one's way around. I'm not a huge fan of modern art other than the very top artists but enjoyed the main...More
