Although built in the 19th century and therefore of limited historical value, the interior, illuminated by stained glass windows throughout, is nothing short of breathtaking.

When I went to Nancy, I went to visit the Basilique Saint-Epvre. Unfortunately, it was closed. It seems that it does not open all day, as it have been, for a fantastic basilica. Being there, I enjoyed looking at the fantastic gothic style façades and...More

Relatively new, from the second half of the 19th century. French Gothic Revival style. The light flooding inside the church and the illumination of the stained glass windows is just phenomenal.

This is such a beautiful church, but unfortunately I was never able to enter as it was usually closed.

Nice Basilique in center of Nancy is a splendour of gothic architecture and which is richly decorated with splendid glass windows, and merit a visit.

This basilica has been partially renovated and cleaned. Many beautiful details are to be admired from the outside and dominate the atmosphere of the surroundings (terraces)

Had a 20 min visit of this historical gem. Each alcove/chapel houses some splendid stone and wood carvings. Wrought iron work again a feature of Nancy craftsmen.

The building was being restored and although we were able to look from the outside - fantastic architecture the inside was all closed up

Magnificent piece of archtecture located in the older part of town. So many details it took me hour just to take photo of the outside.

Beautiful church placed on a busy crossroad, which makes it even more interesting as it is such a big difference when you get inside, entering that cold, dark and quiet place. You start relax immediately.
