We visited on a quiet Sunday morning which was lovely. You can just walk round and take it all in. We grabbed some croissants and coffee and just sat in the gardens and really enjoyed it! Definitely worth a visit.

Very nice spot to chill with good views of Limoges & the Vienne river. We usually take along a picnic or packed lunch. Often has local festivals + intersting Statues & Artwork not to mention the wide variety of botanic intersts, plants, trees, herbs etc.

A few pay and display car parks nearby, there's a few things to see in this area nd the gardens complement them nicely.

The gardens & water features are free to visit and highly recommended. Definitely worth a wonder round for an hour and also allows lovely views over the river.

Well worth the walk, the park and gardens are set in about 5 hectares right in the heart of the Cite district. We walked from the lovely railway station following the map from the information centre there. There are 6 terraced gardens created at the end of 18th century and the park has a lovely view over the banks of the river Vienne, there were many rower's out that day. The gardens were well kept with beautiful hedges lots of flowering dahlias and butterfly plants, a shady retreat and lots places to sit.

Whatever the weather this is a lovely place to visit -the gardens are beautifully kept and can be found behind the cathedral - several terraces overlook the river and there is no charge - plenty of benches if you need to rest as you walk around and. A lovely view by the fountain

At any time during the year. Well kept, creative and providing shelter for many of its citizens..the area which features aquatic plants and moss is especially lovely

A haven of peace in Limoges, and well used by local people, the flowerbeds and especially the fountains are well worth seeing and photographing.

The gardens are lovely and very well planned - lots of symmetry and lovely water fountains - all the plants are named too which is great. Fab place to stroll or have your lunch - plenty of benches dotted around so if you struggle with mobility you can take rests. Lovely views over the river too.
