Interesting for its history. It is an excellent reference point, as the sightseeing train leaves from there.

This city has been Spanish/French/Spanish and is currently French again. It is part of Catalunya and as such, Catalan is a manditory language in schools and many people can speak Catalan. The Castle was built by the King of Majorca, the one who the locals claim put the Catalan flag, four red stripes on the gold background, on the Spanish... More

A small museum about the history of Perpignan with a couple of displays of archeological objects, a space where you can watch vintage film footage, and a walk via stairs up to the top to view Perpignan. Not the most beautiful castle, not the most fascinating museum. At least not for the average tourist. But it wasn't a waste of... More

I went looking for history: instead I got modern art in an old building. Not many stories told of ancient days and very little in English. Still worth a look.

I visited the castle when going to see an art exhibition that was being shown. We thought the setting for the exhibition was great and loved the opportunity to see the castle at the same time.

The entrance to the centre is ver nice. The Castillet dates back for centuries and stands out ànd you can see the gates to the opening. A lovely way to enter. You can go up the tower and get a great view
