A beautiful church, tall and elegant, with a soaring vault and nice side aisles. Difficult to photograph the inside it is so high. It is more attractive as the usual long nave was never built so the proportions are unusual.
This is the monument you must visit we even you go to Narbonne. It's really an authentic n original monument to visit. You will feel very good in that environment. The statues the paintings the real art of ancient time. A must.
The visual elements in this cathedral are ribbed vault ceilings, flying buttesses (sometimes double), soaring height (131+ feet in height), very realistic statuary, and stained glass/rose windows.

A huge Gothic like cathedral that is smaller on the inside, as a series of local and national events caused the construction to be halted part way through a large extension. So it is now part ruin / unfinished and part active cathedral. Oddly spooky...More
Huge, unfinished cathedral. Massively tall ceilings with beautiful gothic detailing. Lovely garden too. Not worth going to see on its own, but part of a complex of historic buildings and museums that are super.
