The museum boasts sculptures, paintings and beautiful architecture and makes for a good visit as it is not very large which allows one to concentrate more fully on the works exhibited. The museum currently exhibits works (paintings and drawings) by the Nimes-born painter Charles-Joseph Natoire...More

This is a lovely quiet cool building. Very low-fuss, informal welcome. No grumpy signs. The highlight has to be the Roman mosaic floor, and it is probably worth the price of entrance just to see that. But we spent another 2 hours wandering and looking....More

The building is lovely and the collection is really small, but thinking on Nimes size I think is a good classic art representation. Most of the artists are french and at least for me known but good.

The collection is modest and size, and it contains mostly works of painters of the second and third rank. Still, the piece by Pieter Coecke van Aelst is first rate, and there are other nice works. General admission is free of charge; there is a...More

Compact but intense gallery of Italian and French painting. Superb restored Roman mosaic floor rescued from somewhere in Nimes. Was free on Sunday.

It's a small museum with a huge floor mosaic being its definite highlight. Of painters of any significance they have Rubens and Jan Miense Molenaer and Paul Delaroche's canvas. The museum is free
