This is a large, well laid out and interesting aquarium with huge main tank filled with a variety of sharks, rays and other interesting large fish. It's at least on par with the London aquarium. One could comfortably spend a couple of hours here with the family. It's surrounded by restaurants and other things to do such as a planetarium.... More

We have visited a nmber of aquariums BUT I would definately say this si the best we have been to. It includes all the usual fish etc but also has a part which is like being on a fishing boat - you actually feel as if you are on the boat on a rough sea, they also have pengiuns and... More

Kids love sea life, so we popped in for a quick visit. Finished in one hour, not sure that you can spend here longer than 2 hours without the kids getting bored. They have a great collection and the exhibitions are really good. Staff is helpful - definitely worth a short visit!

We visited this aquarium with 2 babies of 20 months. The aquarium is amazing, recent with great quality. It has a very nice selection of fishes including a lot of sharks. Most importantly, it is all organized around kids. If they are in a stroller, no worries as you have elevators all around. If they are a bit older, there... More

Before I went I read the reviews and few of them discourage me, however my kids kept asking and we give it a go, I most said having been in London, Madrid, Barcelona acuarios that this one it is small, also cheaper but it has some interesting stuff that I have no seen before. My kids love it, totally recommended

Travelled from city centre on the tram, which is clean and efficient. Aquarium was enjoyable - some good exhibits such as the penguin area. Visit took less than an hour but we didn't have small children with us.

We found this aquarium out after looking at places on a map. I've read a few of the reviews and quite a few people complained about there being empty tanks. They explained this and said that it was because of cleaning or caring reasons. At the entrance you have to open your bags in case of sharp objects, ect. The... More

Out side from Montpellier. Lot of fish from different country. Perhaps little expensive, but interesting exhibition.

The Aquarium is located at the 'Odysseum', which is a large shopping complex on the outskirts of Montpellier. It took around 20 minutes to drive there from the city centre and you get 2 hours' free parking, although you can also get there on the tram. We'd only ever been to our small local aquarium, which is about a tenth... More
